The Wise Serpent King
He glides between the branches without a trace,
Where the shadow is thick, like water's face.
No one will hear the lianas' sigh,
Kaa has come from nowhere, the baboon's terrified cry.
He knows the legends, the secrets of old,
Where the jewels of the desert's mysteries hold.
In the jungle, nothing happens by chance, you see —
All thoughts belong to Kaa... all join the trance...
(Chorus)
O-o-o, Kaa, you wise serpent, the great hypnotist,
In the coils of time, in the fire of existence.
Your eyes like the moon o'er a river so still,
Whoever meets their gaze — bends to your will!
(Verse)
Trust, relax, just look and fall deep,
These might be the last waking days you keep.
The circling coils flash, like mantras they spin,
The mind grows so helpless, just lights from within.
The jungle falls silent, Kaa holds his court,
Your tears are of no use, no matter the retort.
Who are you in life? A seeker? A thief?
The judge here is one, he passes the sentence.
(Chorus)
O-o-o, Kaa, you wise serpent, the great hypnotist,
In the coils of time, in the fire of existence.
Your eyes like the moon o'er a river so still,
Whoever meets their gaze — bends to your will!
(Verse)
What did you leave in life? Goodness or spite?
What is the verdict? And who wins tonight?
The jungle will hide it, so speak and be true,
Everything remains here, including the real you.
(Chorus)
O-o-o, Kaa, you wise serpent, the great hypnotist,
In the coils of time, in the fire of existence.
Your eyes like the moon o'er a river so still,
Whoever meets their gaze — bends to your will!
