Little paws tap dancing on the floor
You’re my shadow my furry encore
Eyes like moons they see right through
Every secret every bruise
Whiskers twitch you’re plotting again
Tiny villain but my truest friend
Purring storms calm the night
Your betrayal feels just right
Scratch the sofa tear the blinds
Steal my heart then steal my fries
But when I cry you’re always near
Furry bandit my dearest dear
Oh my furry shadow my little muse
No one loves me like you do
No one claws my heart in two
You’re my comfort and my chaos too
Where nightingales sing
