In the quiet of the evening sky,
Where the stars begin to fly,
I feel Your presence near,
Like a gentle, warm tear.

Through the storms and through the rain,
Through the pain and through the gain,
You are my guiding light,
Shining so bright.

Like a lullaby of spring,
Like a bird that learns to sing,
You have taught my heart to trust,
In Your endless love and trust.

In the silence of the night,
When the world is out of sight,
I can hear Your gentle voice,
Speaking peace, speaking choice.

You are the morning dew,
That revives the morning new,
You are the breath of life,
That makes everything right.

In the depths of every tear,
In the joy that we hold dear,
You are present, always near,
Making every moment clear.

So I lift my heart to You,
In the morning's early dew,
Thanking for each new day,
For the love that leads the way.
