Autumn s Sorrow

In the hush of autumn, the gardens are sleeping,
Beneath fading leaves, in silence they're keeping.
The farewell of sunlight, a shimmering gleam,
Released golden rays to the world of a dream.

We opened up secrets as if they were new,
Though long before us,
Others had found them too.

In the shadow of sorrow, through midnight’s embrace,
The autumn song whispers, like wind in its grace.
We gaze at the heavens, with longing inside,
And the whole world before us lies open, wide.

But maybe we shouldn’t be worried, distressed,
For after the rainfall, comes sunlight and rest.
The earth will awaken, with warmth it will bloom,
And spring will return saying softly: “Hello!”

And sorrow will fade, for the truth we hold near:
To welcome the sunshine, the skies must be clear.
Through storms and through shadows, we’ll walk hand in hand,
Believing in springtime, life’s wonder so grand.
