Seasons of Time

A fence with viburnum, lush and green,
Pines and birches by the stream.
They stand in silence, summer’s gentle dream,
As sunlight crowns the garden’s gleam.

I walk the garden, silence in the air,
The breeze caresses, soft and kind.
Alone I wander, restless everywhere,
Yet summer’s garden soothes my mind.

A fence with viburnum, golden glow,
Branches tangled, leaves that fall.
Autumn’s beauty, tender, slow,
Its crimson garden whispers all.

The heart is aching as we part with summer,
Grey fog lingers near the stream.
Morning rises, quiet, somber,
Autumn lives within a dream.

Seasons turn, they call our name,
Each a fire, none the same.
Winter’s frost, spring’s tender flame,
Summer’s peace, and autumn’s frame.

A fence with viburnum, covered in snow,
Branches broken, bending low.
Yet spring is racing through the miles,
And life returns with tender smiles.
