The Roads We Take

We walk together on the earthly ways,
That lead us into the Unknown.
We marvel at the skies in endless gaze,
Where dormant passion brightly shone.

What beauty fills the earth we see,
So vast, so neverending.
Dragonflies dance over streams with glee,
The heavens endless, ever-spreading.

We walk together down the roads of dreams,
We chase the sunset, greet the dawn.
Forget the distance - or so it seems,
We walk ahead, the light draws us on.

We walk the roads of love, serene,
Through morning mist, through valleys wide.
Above the hills, the sunrise gleams,
Wrapped in its golden, glowing tide.

We walk the roads of fate so wide,
Across the universe untold.
For all is constant, side by side -
Made of Faith, and Love, and Hope.

Hand in hand, we walk ahead,
Not counting years, nor time, nor miles.
We know one day all this will fade…
But what is “all”? Beyond - what trials?

Only the Heart will know!
And may it never let it go!
