Day No. 5

CHAPTER 5.2. The TOWER OF BABEL

We approached the Tower of Babel.

Well… you have already realized, these mountains were a magical place, so there was everything there. Everything you needed and nothing more. If you think I’m joking, I’m not. The Tower of Babel in miniature was really present there. But until I saw it with my own eyes, I didn’t believe it either. Everything I tell you about those places is true. And Kailas, and the Egyptian Pyramids with a small Sphinx, and the Greek Temples, and the Dragon’s Ridge, and the Guru’s Stone, if it hasn’t been thrown into the abyss yet or hasn’t disappeared into the Corridor of Other Dimensions…

RAM signaled us to wait below and slowly ascended to the top of the Tower. We were watching her in silence. She whispered something, then spread her arms to the sides, and at that moment I saw my friend the Rainbow, passing from one of her palms to the other in a semicircle. It was amazing, the Rainbow over the Tower of Babel, RAM held in her palms. I turned to Svetlana standing next to me, “Do you see it?”

“What should I see?” Svetlana looked at RAM attentively.

“You should nothing, but you can see the Rainbow!”

“I see something, but not a rainbow…”

The Tower of Babel was somewhat tilted and resembled the Tower of Pisa. RAM descended from Heaven to Earth and said that now each of us in turn must ascend to the top of the Tower. She warned that from the outside, the ascent seemed to be easy as two times two, but as soon as you stood on the spiral staircase paved with various stones symbolizing planets and stars, the energy flow broke you through so strong that you could fall down and immediately understand that two times two was actually 4.

I climbed the Tower. I couldn’t make a rainbow, but the Tower moved me to the distant past, to the country where I had once met Ray for the first time.

***

After breakfast we turned into porcupines. Svetlana immediately fell asleep. Apparently, for the yesterday’s 4 and its consequences that had a strong effect on everyone. And after the porcupines, I went to the roof to walk on broken glass. Sasha and another seminarian were already walking there.

“There’s Daphne! Great! I have as many questions for you as the pieces of glass in the glass carpet!”

For several minutes we walked on the glass, stood on it and even bounced silently, because everyone had to feel their own. Then we sat in the shade by the door.

“Daphne, so… Question number one: where did the Tower of Babel come from here?”

“You know, it has such a property: whoever passes by the place where it is, forgets everything known before! So I forgot where it came from!” I laughed.

“Come on!”

“It’s a joke, of course, but there’s a joke in every joke. Ray told me once, that happens to those who pass by the place where the Tower actually used to be.”

“Well, a good joke, I wouldn’t want to pass by it there. Do you know anything else about the Magic Tower?”

“Babylon, since its foundation, was the city of concentration of Sanskrit and Brahmin knowledge. Students flocked there from all over the world. The Tower was located on a hill and called Nebo. Or Navi. It was built by magicians, seven-stored building of brickwork, each floor had its own color.”

“Like your rainbow, Daphne! Why seven-stored?”

“The Tower was dedicated to the Seven Planets, the Seven Spheres. In translation, the name of the Tower meant ‘The house where Heaven and Earth meet’. Temple of the Seven Planets. The purpose of the Tower was astronomical. They observed the Heavenly Luminaries from it, taught astrology, performed magical rites. A lot of such high-rise temple-towers were built in Mesopotamia and they were called ziggurats.”

“Translate!”

“Ziggurat in Babylonian means some top, including top of the mountain. The word denoted a multi-stage cult building typical of Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian and Elamite architecture. The highest ziggurat was located precisely in Babylon, somewhere it is written that its height exceeded 90 meters, the foundation was about 90 meters wide. No one knows exactly when the Tower was built. But Ray said that at that time all people still spoke the same language, and then they began to write on clay tablets. It’s possible, of course, that the Tower was built immediately after the Flood, when our Atlantis went under water …”

“Our?”

“I meant Ray and myself… The Tower of Babel was repeatedly destroyed and rebuild, including by some Assyrian king, then it was restored by Nebuchadnezzar the Second.”

“When was that?”

“Nebuchadnezzar the Second lived and ruled during the New-Babylonian (Chaldean) dynasty, somewhere in the six hundred or five hundred years BC. Do you know how many bricks it took to build it?”

“How many?”

“About 85 million. The Grand Stairway led up to the two-stored Temple, located almost in Heaven.”

“Did the Chaldean dynasty also practice Magic?”

“Among the ancient religions of the world are the Hindus, Mazdeans and Egyptians ones. Babylonian Magic is closer to Egyptian. Someone says that the Chaldean originated in Atlantis, someone – that later than the Babylonian. But immediately after the Babylonian, a mystical-esoteric branch Kabbalah began to develop, which followed the Babylonian Magic, and not Chaldean. Not much of the Chaldean Magic has survived to our days.”

“Where did these Chaldeans live? In Babylon? Who were they?”

“Chaldeans, the Babylonian word Kaldu, is similar to our word ‘koldun’, that means a sorcerer. They lived at the mouth of the Tiber and Euphrates rivers, on the north-west shore of the Persian Gulf. In the 9th century BC, the Chaldeans occupied the southern part of Babylonia and gradually moved north, while absorbing the ancient Babylonian culture. That is, the Chaldeans and the Babylonians are different peoples in original. All the Chaldean tribes led a semi-nomadic way of life, and they spoke the Aramaic language.”

“What kind of language is this? Why don’t I know?”

“At the turn of the 2nd and 1st millennium BC, the Aramaic language was partly spread on the territory of modern Syria, as well as in the adjacent regions of Iraq and southeast Turkey. The first Aramaic monuments are known from the 9th century BC. They were found on the territory of modern Syria. All dialects and variants of the Aramaic language can be divided into two large groups: Western Aramaic (Promised Land, Galilee, Damascus) and Eastern Aramaic (central Syria and Babylon). One of the Aramaic languages was one of the spoken languages of Judea at the time of Jesus Christ. I have been to a monastery where they still speak Aramaic, they even recited the Lord’s Prayer to me there.”

“Daphne, you let me speechless.”

“Back to the Chaldeans. So… The word Chaldean also served as the name of sorcerers, magicians, fortune-tellers, astrologers, astronomers. The magi who came to worship the born Jesus Christ were Chaldeans.”

“Were the Chaldeans honored then?”

“The name Chaldeans became the designation of the Babylonian priesthood, science and culture. Though, taking into consideration that the Chaldeans originally came to Babylon from Egypt, their knowledge was both of the Egyptian and the Babylonian schools. They were respected, listened to by the greats of this world reigning at that time, which was abused by the ordinary charlatans declaring themselves Chaldeans.”

“The same as in our times! Nothing changed! Why does Babylon mean the sin in the Bible, the Harlot of Babylon?”

“You see, I have already told Svetlana and you… The world is multifaceted. Astrology is only a piece, one of its facets, you cannot look at the world only through the blue glass of an astronomer. Just like getting hung up on the numbers of the Pythagoreans, calculating everything on your way. The Natal Chart with the position of the planets at the time of birth is not a verdict. It’s just one’s predisposition to one thing or the other. A person has a choice which Path to follow within the framework of the opportunities given to him from birth. There is God, represented in a person by the Spirit, his Higher Self. And with the help of God, a person can do everything.”

“That is, Astrology is a science, but God is higher, right?”

“Quite right. People forget that and put their sciences above God.”

“You know, Daphne, the Game of Natal Charts seems to be smelling somehow of the word karma. Am I right?”

“Karma is such an information and energy data bank. Karma is created by us every second, because our thoughts, feelings, desires, words, deeds are the causes that create their consequences.”

“How does this happen?”

“The law of karma is subject to the law of conservation of energy. All our thoughts, feelings, desires, words, deeds are a certain psychic energy emitted by us, which creates a certain energy-information field around us and is imprinted in the universal database There. Energy is always purposeful (!) and affects what it is directed at, and by chain bypasses the whole world. That is, your action seems to be one-time, but its consequences are eternal. It looks like, as I read in a smart book and it seemed to me an intelligible comparison. Imagine yourself throwing a pebble into the water. You spent a certain amount of force to pick it up and throw it. Force is energy. The fall of the stone into the water made circles, and the energy ran after them. You cannot trace in the material world how it moves further and what it affects. In the Subtle World, the wave that you set in motion continues its movement further. The fact has already happened, since the stone has been thrown into the water. You can’t put it back in your hand, roll back the circles on the water, get back the energy you spent on picking up and throwing the stone. Your action is already recorded in the Astral Tablets and you can’t erase it with an eraser. That’s how consequences arise.”

“How then can we bring the forces into the initial balance?”

“If you do something good, get rid of the greatness of your Ego, emit positive vibrations, that is, think positively, wish good to someone and perform altruistic deeds, this reduces bad karma, as if it removes a load from your shoulders completely or partially. For example, if you offended someone, ask for forgiveness. By doing this, you bring the disturbed balance back to normal. You know, in the East they say, when you praise someone, you take his good karma, and when you scold, you take his bad. In fact, it means, if you act good even in response to evil, it will make you feel even better. And if you respond evil with evil, you feel worse.”

“Being hit on one cheek, turn the other cheek to the hitter, right?”

“Yes. Great wisdom. If you don’t do something to remove the imbalance of the Forces, then the Forces will be forced to deal with the situation in order to restore balance, and how they will do this in relation to you is a matter of their imagination only.”

“Were you punished in any way?”

“Yes, of course. For example, I often thought, how could the person do that? They put me in the same situation, and I saw the same picture with different eyes and understood the reason for the deed. Karma can put you in similar situations, it can push you against certain people or separate you from someone.”

“How quickly are we punished?”

“It’s different for everyone. They say, God instantly punishes only those He loves, that is, the people of Light, so that they can immediately correct themselves.”

“Is the karma of past lives a punishment extended in time?”

“Yes. The karma of past lives is determined, among other things, by the moment of birth, and by the alignment of the planets in Natal Charts. The Spirit carefully prepares for its incarnation. It chooses the moment of birth, the parents for forming the physical body. The physical body is also karma. By the way, the twins are as well. Perhaps they were once bitter enemies, and now they need to make peace. Accidents can also be referred to as karma.”

“And what to do with it?”

“Take me, for example, or Ray. We both have the seal of the Black Moon. One can go from Darkness to Light. It’s my choice. From Darkness to Darkness is Ray’s choice. If one doesn’t have the seal of Lilith, one can go from Light to Light, or from Light to Darkness. In the latter case, the next time that one will be born with such seal.”

“So it turns out again that it’s a person who chooses.”

“Yes, the choice is limited by karma, but it’s always there. With your good thoughts, words and deeds, with the help of God, you can change everything for the better.”

Svetlana, having had a good sleep, came to the roof and exclaimed, “You are here, great! I’ve already missed the lectures!”

“Join us!” Sasha suggested.

“What are you talking about here?”

“About the stars.”

“Well, wait, I’ll run for my notebook and a pen and I’ll be right back!” Svetlana ran away for her magical accessories.

“Daphne, are you going to repeat all that?!”

“I’m not capable of this!”

“What will you do?”

“Teaching.”

Svetlana returned and got ready to record.

“What to tell you?” I asked.

“Do you remember, RAM said, it was the 4th day of classes, and it was also Thursday?”

“Yes, I do, of course.”

“I’ve heard, there is a connection between the days of the week and the planets, and you seemed to be talking about the stars. Can you tell me about that?”

“Well, Daphne, a good idea, I don’t know anything about Thursday either!”

“Magicians have a seven-pointed star, it means all seven days of the week. Each day is patronized by one of the planets that have the greatest influence on the inhabitants of the Earth.”

“Daphne, Monday is the first day, so does it mean the Sun?”

“You guessed it wrong! In this star, the first day is Sunday, the day of the Sun.”

“Alice, are people born on Sunday patronized by the Sun?”

“In the primitive classification of people by day of the week, it is believed that all those born on Sunday are boiling with inexhaustible energy. They are always lucky in everything.”

“Beloved ones of the fate!”

“Not really. Everything is given to them in full: the mind, and talent, and vitality, and beauty, and dexterity. Being gifted for free, they can lead a carefree lifestyle and rest on their laurels. At the age of 33, a person is required to pass his 1st Exam on what he has done for the world. And so the showdown begins. They were given a lot, they will be asked for a lot. True, if a person developed his talents, and did not sit idly by, he can reach certain heights, becoming famous.”

“Why at 33?”

“It is believed that the Solar Cycle is 33 years, the next exam is at 66. According to the results of the exam, not hard-working freeloaders with off-scale egocentrism suddenly find themselves with a broken trough.”

“So, Alice, does a person born on Sunday have to do something for the world?”

“No, Svetlana. Being born in this world on whatever day of the week, you have to do something for the world.”

“Daphne, what about Monday? With Sunny Bunnies, everything is clear.”

“The second day, Monday, is under the auspices of the Moon. Often the Soul of these people is torn apart by doubts and confusions, they need to understand themselves, eliminate contradictions in their souls. These are people of emotions and feelings. They have a highly developed astral body, excellent intuition. But, as a rule, people of the Moon are introverted, hiding feelings in their rich inner world. Subconsciously they are looking for some leader, they want to be the followers, to feel next to someone like behind a Stone Wall. But there are few real Stone Walls in the world, and children of the Moon sense the fictitious walls half a mile away and bypass them, so Mondays often suffer from loneliness.”

“Apparently, their mother gave birth on Monday!” Sasha sang a famous song about bad luck people.

“And what will happen if the Wall is found, the real one?” Svetlana asked.

“The Wall will be very lucky, because the Moon in Love gives all of itself without a trace, splashes out boundless love like a tsunami, and opens wide the magical doors to its rich inner world.”

“Daphne, did you by any chance come to the light of God on Monday?”

“You guessed it, Sasha. You are a capable student.”

“But how did you get it? Three retrograde planets, the seal of the Black Moon, Venus in Pisces, Destiny in the 12th House and moreover on Monday! Atlantis must have sunk entirely because of you! Just don’t tell me now that I’m wrong!”

“Sasha, don’t say that to Alice, otherwise she will go headlong into her Atlantis and close all the doors to her inner world so that later you will never reach her!”

“Daphne, sorry… There is a Stone Wall for you too! Honestly, I swear by the square of Pythagoras! You are such a little, such a beautiful, fragile, sensitive Daphne! No Stone Wall will pass by! You’ll teach me a little more Chaldean Magic, and I’ll conjure you such a Wall that even if you want to leave it, it won’t let you go! 100%!”

“Thank you, Sasha. Tuesday people live under the sign of Mars, and it’s a warrior. Accordingly, the character is persistent, sometimes stubborn and even aggressive. They can commit impulsive acts, very presumptuous. They first do something and then think.”

“Daphne, this is about me!”

“But they need to be constantly praised, because Tuesday people often suffer from complexes, they lack self-confidence.”

“Exactly! Praise me!”

“She has already praised you saying that you are a capable student. Alice never praises me, kidding only from time to time!”

“Wednesday is patronized by Mercury, the god of trade, communication, knowledge and intellect. So, since childhood, people of Wednesday constantly make friends, because they have a craving for communication. They set a goal and go towards it consistently and persistently, which often leads to a sudden rise. They study something a bit during all their life and have diverse interests. They often don’t advertise emotions, giving the impression of conservative people, since they are mainly governed by reason. Sooner or later, they put off the accumulated energy and return to the habitually life. They work in the field of marketing, trade, journalism, advertising.”

“Alice, I’m writing! Why are you dictating so fast? Repeat!”

“Take shorthand, use hieroglyphs!”

“Those born on Wednesday have lovers aside from time to time,” Sasha laughed.

“What?” Svetlana asked.

“I’ve just repeated what Daphne said. What you didn’t have time to write down. They seem to be calm conservatives, hide everything inside, then go for a walk aside to spill the hidden out at once and, satisfied, return home as conservatives.”

“Are you all about your own, about girlish, Sasha? Alice, let’s talk about Thursday, just a bit slower.”

“Thursday is Jupiter, the Father of Olympic Gods, ruling the world. Many people become administrators, managers, they can even govern a country.”

“And where we have politics and management, you know, Svetlana, what is there? There is money … Jupiter is in charge of huge capital!” Sasha said, recalling my previous lecture.

“Yes, they are good at politics, along with money. As well as at religion. It’s also the destiny of Jupiter. Those who subconsciously or consciously need patronage are drawn to the people of Thursday. Some have developed foresight of the future, but sometimes stubbornness knows no bounds. Together with dominance, it can lead to absolute intolerance to other people’s opinion. They listen to everyone, but do it their own way. People of Jupiter don’t forgive insults and betrayals.”

“Daphne, is it a sample of your Stone Wall, by any chance?”

“My Brother walks under Jupiter,” I remembered.

“Was he born on a Thursday, Alice?”

“I don’t know.”

“How can you not know what day your brother was born?” Svetlana was surprised.

“Svetlana, why should Daphne know that if she knows him as Jupiter?”

“So who do they not forgive?”

“Those born on the day you were born, Svetlana!” Sasha joked.

“Friday is Venus.”

“Svetlana, Venus also manages money, but not a big capital. So, if you are not friends with Jupiter, not everything in this life is lost!”

“Alice, please, slow down! What does Venus have to do with money?”

“It has a nose for money. Where there is Venus, there is money.”

“Daphne, a valuable piece of information! I’ll use it for my business. For example, someone says there is no money in the company. I come there and wow, there are a whole flock of Venus doing their make-up. So, someone is lying, and there is plenty of money!”

“Sasha, you are very capable! In general, people of Venus constantly fall in love. They are charming and attractive even in the absence of beauty. The opposite sex is attracted to them like a magnet. Venus are players, they see life as a game, fun, joy. They are able to give love, but require freedom even in marriage. If their husbands or wives provide such freedom to Venus, then, oddly enough, they keep Venus close. If they constantly check Venus for cheating, on the contrary, they lose Venus immediately, even if a new object of love has not yet been found.”

“Daphne, you should have been born Venus! Even with the Black Moon. Why didn’t you wait until Friday? Or been born three days earlier!”

“In that case, you wouldn’t have to believe my words, Sasha!”

“So do Venus always lie?”

“No, not always, but they don’t pay much attention to words. Today they love, tomorrow they don’t. It’s such a game in words and in feelings. Although, perhaps, they really can do so, today they love, tomorrow they don’t, and the day after tomorrow they love again.”

“Then you’d better be Monday. Have you met Venus?”

“Yes, I have a friend Venus. The Man Who Was Not is Venus as well.”

“Alice, were they both born on Friday?” Svetlana asked.

“I have no idea when they were born,” I admitted honestly.

My answer puzzled Svetlana.

“Go on, Daphne!”

“Venus, like Monday the Moon, loves its home, tries to make it cozy, comfortable. But Venus people can’t stand any domestic problems. They need cooks, housekeepers and comfort.”

“Daphne, I have an idea! Pretend to be Venus, and let your Stone Wall take away your headache with domestic and other problems!”

“Sasha, don’t interrupt Alice! She’s dictating to me. You are not writing down, you don’t care, but it’s hard for me to write when you keep saying something and interrupting her!”

“Saturn is the patron of Saturdays,” I said, barely holding back my laughter. “The people of Saturn live under the weight of tribal karma.”

Sasha started laughing, he seemed to have already understood everything.

“What kind of karma?” Svetlana asked.

“All Saturdays have a curse of their genealogical tree, the most terrible one!” Sasha explained.

“What a horror! I have to check all of mine ones urgently!”

“The path of people born on Saturday is incredibly difficult. They build everything brick by brick, step by step, both in the family and at work. They have continuous problems with private life and no pleasant surprises from fate.”

“Svetlana, just write it down at once, nothing good. Why waste ink?”

“Alice, say more about Saturday!”

“Labor, honor, duty, patience, that’s all they have in this world, Svetlana.”

Sasha and I were watching Svetlana until the last dot.

“Svetlana, listen, why are you now recording all this nonsense?” I asked.

“What nonsense? You were talking about planets…”

“Yes, I was… But even before that, I told you about the Natal Chart. You had even ordered your own from an astrologer. It all depends on the time and place of birth. There are many planets and houses. The combinations are uncountable. Each of us is unique… Do you really believe that all those born on Saturday are doomed? What kind of birth curse do ridiculous horoscopes write about for everyone born on Saturday without exception? I have recently read that the day is divided into 2 hour segments, before that I read from someone, 1 hour each. Like the hours are under the control of their planets, and you need to look exactly at the hour of birth, without taking into account everything else. You can write down: from midnight and so on, each two hours are in charge of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto, Venus, Mercury, the Sun, the Moon. Based on the time I was born, as it’s written in the almost holy scripture, I am an absolutely gray mouse merging with the crowd all my life.”

Sasha rolled into a heartbreaking laugh. Svetlana was about to burst in tears.

“I could dictate to you now a whole treatise on the Signs of the Zodiac and their correspondence to the elements of nature. But even if you look at the standard horoscope of Aries, Gemini, Cancer and so on, you can’t say that all the Aries are 100% the element of Fire. I am Aries, but most of the planets at the time of my birth fell into Water Signs. I have a lack of the Earth and Air elements, and very little Fire one. In my Natal Chart, the Trigon of Water is oversaturated with planets. It’s a trigon for summing up the results of all human karmic activity. It defines the Mystical Path realized by a person in life. As a rule, it’s the Path of leaving the world, although, perhaps, only a periodic isolation from the Earthly Reality, but in any case, the Path of a loner, paving his own way through the frequently changing factors of existence. The whole life of such a person is devoted to farewell to the Earthly Reality. That’s why the last Mystical Trigon is associated with the 4th and the last element, Water, which subjects everything to transformation, transfiguration and return to the Primary Source, God. There are as many planets in the Water element in the Natal Charts of famous monks, elders and hermits. This is the Path of trials and transformations.”

Sasha stopped laughing a long time ago and said sadly, “Daphne, please don’t leave. I’ll conjure a Stone Wall for you, a reliable one that walks under Jupiter.”

Svetlana was silent. I sighed and said, “Life is multifaceted and not at all as simple as we would like. Forget everything I said about numbers and Signs. Look at the world with your eyes wide open and create your bright destiny with the help of God, to the envy of all those who write all sorts of one-sided nonsense.”

There was a long pause.

We all thought about our own, about the girlish, until we heard from the corridor, “Hey, everyone, take the colors and go down into the hall, let’s paint!”
