Blessed are those who trust in the Lord,
those who hang upon His every word,
those who love Him and pure in heart,
who from His ways would never depart.
Those who gladly His name proclaim,
lit by the Spirit's unquenchable flame,
He gives them peace in the middle of storms,
He even miracles for them performs.
Those who hate all sinful ways,
who give to Christ every honour and praise,
He wouldn't leave them, whose faith is strong,
who to the Heavenly Father belong.
He would uplift them in moments of doubt,
giving them water in times of drought,
helping to pass every trial and test,
comforting grieving, upset, and distressed.
Strength He provides for them who are weak,
honouring humble, encouraging meek.
He for each faithful has a reward.
Blessed are those who trust in the Lord!
