Forged in Fire

Do you hear it?
The sound of emptiness...
Until I shape it into something.
Let’s go.

I was born where sirens sang lullabies,
Cold courtyards framed by weary walls.
Cracks in asphalt under sneakers’ soles,
Each breath a stolen gasp of air.

Mother whispered:
"Son, the world is never fair."
We lived in darkness,
Even the light was scared.

No mercy from fate,
A fist for every plea.
Childhood was painted
With blood from broken knuckles.

I’m not here for glitter,
I paid with blood for every climb.
I fought, I won -
Became my own hero.

I gave my soul, I walked the fire,
Through pain and flames, I never tired.
I’m forged in steel, I’ll never break,
I fight to live, whatever it takes.

Heart of ice, like winter in the slums,
Scars unseen, but teaching me to fight.
Stones on my chest turned into diamonds,
And still my heart burns bright.

No peace for the storm-born child,
I adapted, I rose, I wrote new laws.
Now I’m the king, rewriting the game,
A crown of fire on my name.

I gave my soul, I paid my dues,
Alone when choosing paths to choose.
Through dust they tried to grind me down,
I rose again, I wear the crown.

Do you think it came with ease?
Think I never fell to my knees?
Silent screams against the wall,
I broke, I burned - but I gave it all.

From dirt to sky I climbed alone,
I built myself from flesh and bone.
They beat me down, I wouldn’t fall,
I lived, I learned - I conquered all.
