Among the animalistic geoglyphs of Nasca desert in Peru there is the depiction of whale, which is the stylized geographic map (dated mid 4th century A.D.) symbolising the territory of Brittania.
This map-geoglyph was made under the supervision of 'reis' (carthographer-astronomer) Ippoletis who was in service for the Romans in Brittania before his cross-Atlantic boat voyage (after A.D. 345) to North America from the port of Glasgow (shown on the map as the eye of the whale).
