CHAPTER 3.4. ONCOLOGY

At dinner, I sat next to Larisa. She had cancer. From February to May, she had undergone five chemotherapy treatments. Very young and very beautiful, she reminded me of my mother. I didn’t know how old Larisa was, but probably the same age as my mother had been. Maybe I was drawn to cancer patients in order to try to give them the warmth that I had not given to my mother at the time, because I had never told her that I loved her and that she would always be in me.

We walked up the stairs to change clothes for the gym. I knew that Larisa had not passed the Point of No Return yet. To pass the Point of No Return means that it takes you more time to heal your physical body than is available. There is a certain line beyond which the physical death will come faster than recovery, even if you are moving in the right direction. Therefore, Time is the most valuable thing we have.

“Let’s stay on the roof,” Larisa suggested.

“Okay, I like rooftops, too…”

“You and I are alike. I read your first book about Another Reality. And your poems as well. They are magical. It’s like you wrote about me!”

We walked on the glass and sat down on the bench.

“Larisa, you will succeed.”

She nodded and asked, “God sees everything, doesn’t he?”

“Everything, of course. I want to share my thoughts with you.”

“Tell me!” Larisa said cheerfully.

“You know, cancer is an excessive activity of some organ due to an excess of energy, an over-excitation of some center. Either stimulation or suppression. When suppressed, the flow of energy is blocked, so you get excessive concentration of energy inside. Energy follows thought. It means that for some reason you were not able to express, to spill out some feeling either in the form in which it should have been expressed, or through splashing it out in another way, for example, by transferring energy to another place. That is, you refused to adapt to the situation you had. It was an inner protest with resentment and bitterness, ‘I want it to be my way. I don’t want it the way it is and will not, even if you kill me!’ You didn’t accept the situation with the words, ‘I don’t understand why it’s so, but God knows better.’ You didn’t change anything either in yourself or in your attitude to the circumstances. You could accept what happened, as a lesson in the school of life, to draw some conclusions and move on, but you refused. You didn’t want to live as you were offered by Heavens at that moment in your life, under those circumstances and the rules of the game. Perhaps you couldn’t even imagine how and why you should go on living. At the moment when we don’t want to live, or even mentally we say with very strong negative emotions something like, ‘Kill me, either I die, or…’, the self-destruct program starts. It’s similar to a curse that returns like a boomerang to the one who utters it. We voice our disagreement with God, because everything given to us is authorized by Him. The difference between benign and malignant tumors is only the strength of our decision on a psychological level. Did something similar happen to you?”

“Just like you say…”

“Now let’s look from the other side. The Spirit has got your body for the realization of some task or tasks by you. As soon as it sees that the original plan under the given circumstances wouldn’t be realized, that is, everything that could be achieved has already been done, and waiting for more is just wasting time, it gives the order to the body, ‘I’m leaving, that’s enough. There’s nothing else for me to do here.’ What happens at this moment? The program for the withdrawal of the Soul from the body is launched. But the Spirit is your Higher Self. Since you, as a Personality-Soul, like most people, have too weak connection with your Spirit, you don’t hear the words of your Spirit. Given a diagnosis, you want to live as a Personality-Soul. You again express a furious protest. You refuse to believe it. You are outraged: why you? You are much better than many people, for example, murderers and thieves. They go on living, while you have to leave! You get depressed, but it’s the same you who decided to leave at the level of your Spirit. It may have been a few years since that situation, so you don’t understand why this happened to you now.”

“I really want to live, Alice, I will fight!”

“Will you fight with your Higher Self, that is, with yourself? With God who let you get sick? Such struggle is obviously a losing option, because both the Spirit and God are stronger than you. Moreover, it takes time and effort, while the rank of sick and thankful is equal to a desert life. So you must accept the illness, not give up! – and accept, saying, ‘Thank you! Now I see that something is wrong with me.’ Agreed?”

“Agreed.”

“Cancer is far from death. It’s curable. That’s a fact. A third of the sick is not a small percentage. Realize yourself worthy something more than that disaster. For example, things could be much worse. Some people, even very good ones, die suddenly. You have been given TIME. This is the most precious thing you have now. Right?”

“Yes, you are right, Alice.”

“The first thing you should do is to shout to your Higher Self, your Spirit. Of course, it will hear you anyway, but may not believe your words and let them pass by the ears. You need the Spirit to believe. It happens only if you restore your iron will to live. Gather all your strength into your fist, all your desire to stay, bang your fist on the table and shout, I want to live! But you really have to want it really very much! And not to want once, but constantly, starting from now. With every cell of your soul, you should strive for life! You can never deceive your Spirit. It’s your Self, your Higher Self, you have lost contact with. A strong desire awakens the Higher Forces in a person and in nature, that help to fulfil the desire. In the Gospel, there is no example of a person being healed against his own will, in cases of disbelieve or some doubts. A strong-willed one is also called a person with a strong Spirit. Only such a person can survive, no matter how hard it is for him. And a weak and suspicious one will die of a cold.”

“Yes, I want to live. I do want to live!” Larisa said in tears.

She was very bright, but in her big blue eyes I saw Fear and Uncertainty. She had some doubts, was not completely sure, although at the same time she really wanted to live. Some people, when they see an abyss, think of the abyss, others think of a bridge across it. I saw her trying to find her bridge, but always waiting for a blow from around the corner.

“Fear is useless, Larisa. Fear paralyzes strength. Believe without doubt! You can do it, with God’s help you can do anything.”

“I can do anything,” she repeated after me, thinking about something, with her gaze somewhere in the sky.

“Now, suppose the Spirit heard you and believed you. But according to Archbishop Luke, the life of all the organs of the body is needed only for the formation of the Spirit and stops when its formation is completed or its direction is completely determined. When the Spirit has gone through everything that this life can give. Rise to the place of your Spirit and look at yourself sitting here. Life is given to you, as a Spirit, to do something in the earthly body of Larisa, which is part of God’s Providence about the World. Why should your Higher Self stay on the Earth? You, like Larisa, have to convince the Spirit that it really should stay in your body. This is the hardest task. You have to promise something. Something very worth your life. If you say that you are planning to do something earthly, for example, learn English or go on vacation to the Bahamas, it’s no sense talk for the Spirit. It has to be something you give to or do for the world. It’s best to be alone in the evening and ask God, or the Guardian Angel, or the Higher Forces to give you the right thought. You have no right to mistake your goal.”

Silent tears flew from her eyes.

“As soon as the goal is chosen and voiced to the Spirit and Your Higher Self understands that the life of your body on the Earth is still needed by God, the Spirit, being a true healer, stimulates recovery from Above, and you do the similar work from below. You will unite your efforts. You will become one. To heal means to make one whole, united. In any case, serving others is doing Good. By eradicating egoism, we achieve the correct distribution of power within ourselves. If you want to get well, don’t sit back and don’t wait for a miracle, but go to people and help everyone you can help in any way. Take a walk with children from orphanages, tell them fairy tales. Get to hospitals, nursing houses. If you have nothing to give, just talk to people. They feel hard in their own way. Don’t expect anything in return. Don’t tell about your good deeds to anyone. Give yourself to the world! Hurry up to do Good. The more one gives, the more receives. Shift your attention from yourself to others. Realize that either you serve the World, or you are no longer in it. In the meantime, you need to discover your cause or reasons. You can ask a psychologist to dig you up, but it’s better to do that yourself. No one ever tells the whole truth to another person anyway. Try to write your confession to God. Look through and write about your entire life in details, from the moment you remember yourself up to now. Remember without haste. God gave you time to stop, reflect and remember everything. Write without hiding anything back. Pay special attention to the points in your memory you feel very hurt, perhaps you even cry. No one but you and God will read this. God already knows everything about you, but you write a confession. With all the feelings, experiences, remorse. In the last phrase, ask Him to help you on your Path, but end the letter with the words, ‘Thy Will be done’, that is, you have to agree inside yourself with the fact that God knows the best way for you.”

“You are right, Alice, right… But it’s all so hard!”

A girl lived in Larisa, who had been offended, and her offenders were not forgiven. It seemed to her that she had forgiven them, but she hadn’t.

“At the same time, write a letter of forgiveness. You are unraveling a big ball of tangled threads of cause and effect. Remember everyone you have known in your life since the age of seven. Write their names on a piece of paper. Write a letter to each, remembering everything you had with this person from the moment you met until he was (or still is) in your life. It’s advisable to keep before your eyes the List of Sins tested at the Ordeals. A list with details adapted to our time can be taken from any church. Meet or call those people who you can ask for forgiveness in person. As you write, little things will pop up in your memory that you absolutely would not remember just like that. Review each situation for how you felt then and how you feel now. Ask for forgiveness for everything of the List of Sins, and write that you forgive yourself and let this person go. First, write to those who have already passed into Another Reality. Ask them to help you from Heaven. The memory will begin to give out more and more names of those you have already forgotten. A titanic work. But you should do it every day for at least half an hour. Write to as many as you have time to write to. Write sincerely and with your Soul, putting Divine Love into the letter, mentally drawing the image of a person in front of you. For sure, you’ll find at least one person unrealistic to be forgiven. Writing ‘I forgive you’ without really feeling that you forgive him doesn’t count. A way to forgive a person really is to understand that he is a wanderer on the Earth just like you. He is your other Self. Let your other Self be the way who he is, the way he wants to be in this world. There is no separation into I and You. Everything is One. We are all drops in the ocean of God, His small particles. The Spirit of the one you are writing to is Divine, as well as your own, even if the person himself as a Personality has flaws. You have them too. Feel this person as your brother or sister. Feel the unity. One of the Holy Elders said, ‘As you write, so it spreads.’ Remember this. When you finish writing letters, write that you love and forgive yourself, and forgive yourself! Accept yourself for who you are! All people are imperfect! Take your guilt off! Next, you need to sacrifice something, let go of something or someone you are holding on to or attached to on the Earth. Any sacrifice is empowering. Even in ancient times, there were various rituals of sacrifice and customs of gifts, a person chose a cherished object and offered it as a sacrifice, that often led to healing. Your Personality-Soul is attached to the earthly very much. Look at everything and everyone that and who surrounds you. Leave the most necessary for your life, what it’s impossible to live without. Donate the rest. After that you have to change your life, in deeds, not in words. Many diseases disappear when a person changes his lifestyle, job, family, country of residence. Break the habitual daily pattern, do something different and differently. To find out what will benefit and empower you, make a few plans. First, suppose that God decides that it’ll be better for you to go There, and you have 12 months left on the Earth. Write down what you would spend this time on, in order to do what? What do you really want to do? Then make the same plans for six months, for 3 months, for 1 month, for 2 weeks, for 1 week, for 1 day, for 1 hour, for half an hour and for 1 minute. Remember that it is not the quantity of the days on the Earth that matters, but their quality. You need to make the most of given time. Make conclusions out of the written. Make a plan for the next year. Don’t forget to include the goal (or at least some of its stages) voiced to your Spirit. Imagine that God is looking at you and will definitely try to help your body get better, because He likes your plan so much!”

“He will surely like my plan!” Larisa said, wiping her tears away.

“Remember that God created doctors and medicine. Don’t reject either official medicine or non-traditional. Combine both treatments. Don’t refuse chemotherapy. It’s highly undesirable to remove as a benign tumor, because its energy after removal, if the cause is not removed, will go to another organ, so as malignant – metastases will go. Therefore, it’s necessary to work in your Trinity: body, Soul (Personality) and Spirit. You cannot refuse the proposals of the oncologist and fully rely on God. Perhaps God sent to you this particular doctor, knowing that he will help you to recover at the level of the physical body. Pay special attention to NUTRITION. Feed your body with Love like a kid. Talk to it and to every organ. Remember RAM taught us to talk to Pain, ‘Pain, I hear you! What do you want to tell me?’ Talk with your body and with each of its organs. Take care of your body. Let each cell understand that you need your body healthy. Feed it vitamins, don’t let it eat any rubbish!”

“I won’t feed my body nasty things!” She said with a smile, stroking her tummy.

“In the book of an Orthodox priest who was healed of cancer, I read about buckwheat. Find this book. Someone praises it, someone scolds, but I believe that, as Paisios of Athos said, the cure for cancer is in nature and will soon be discovered. They say that buckwheat contains the largest amount of a certain substance among other food products, which restores a broken gene, or performs its function itself. This gene in the cell nucleus regulates cell reproduction. Most human tumors are caused by that broken gene. Thus, the substance found in buckwheat can stop the reproduction of cancer cells. The same magical substance is found in rose hips, broccoli, so include the most useful natural products in your diet. Don’t let your body be lazy! It has to experience a constant physical activity so that the metabolism run better. For example, you can swim in the pool, walk in the park. Do breathing exercises. Eat prana while admiring the Nature. At the same time, it’s desirable to continue working as before. Don’t withdraw your Self inside. Our thought is material, the energy immediately follows it. It’s no need to activate mentally the sick zone. There is too much energy there. The day should be scheduled by the minute so that there is no free time to think about the illness. Just live and don’t let the thought that you can die in your mind.”

“I can’t die… Why should I die?”

“You need positive emotions. Read the books you have been wanting to read for a long time. Go to the theater with a friend. Listen to music.”

“I listen to the disc of RAM with the program for cancer people.”

“Fine! Good girl! You can even keep collecting pocket calendars. A person feels everything brighter and stronger in difficult periods of his life. Don’t forget that creativity is one of the ways to transfer energy into a positive direction, the transformation of energy, a means of self-expression of the Soul. Use everything: paints, plasticine, write stories, poems. Let them be imperfect, you need them like air! Take plasticine and spill out pain, worries, all the negativity through your fingers. Then throw away the result together with negative emotions. Paint with your fingers. Paint everything! Your memories, both good and bad. Paint feelings. Start with the negative ones first. Splash it out on paper in color and tear into small pieces all your sorrows and worries. Then move on to the beautiful, to the Light. Paint an image of Happiness. First imagine, then put it on paper. Paint your dream and yourself in your happy future!”

“I will live in my own house!”

“Of course, you will! Formulate and write positive affirmations without particle ‘not’. For example, ‘I’m getting better. Every day I’m getting better and better!’ ‘I am the happiest person in the world!’ Hang it on all the doors in your flat, above your desk, so that this positive statement catches your eye all the time. The intensity of the reprogramming process must be very high. Use the Fire technique.”

“What’s that, Alice?”

“Imagine that a fire is burning in front of you. Take your illness and all the negative things out of you mentally and put them into the fire. Let everything you don’t need burn. Build a phantom of a healthy organ. Attract the light force of Love to stimulate healthy tissue around the tumor.”

“What else can I do, Alice?”

I knew she was Christian.

“In seven monasteries in one day, order a 40-days prayer for health. Exactly in forty days, order it again. There is a Sacrament in the Church, which helps even the most hopelessly ill. It cleanses the sick of the sins he forgot or didn’t remember. It’s performed by seven priests who read the Apostles and the Gospel seven times and seven times after each reading they anoint the body in seven places to make seven crosses. At the end of the Sacrament, the opened Gospel is placed on the head and a prayer of forgiveness is recited. Recite prayers constantly, out loud and to yourself, even if you don’t know or don’t understand all the words, because those to whom these words are addressed will hear and understand you. Speak in your own words, mentally. Let there be an icon next to you with which you will talk. Go to venerate the Holy relics, bathe in the Holy Springs. Drink Holy water, sprinkle your house with it. Put the Holy oil on the sore spot. Confess and receive Holy Communion. Just do it all with a pure heart, with an open Soul, so that they hear you There.”

“They are bound to hear me, aren’t they, Alice?”

“Even now they hear us… If you combine all possible works on the Trinity ‘Body-Soul-Spirit’, you will succeed. Remember, with God’s help you can do anything!”

“I can do anything, Alice!”

“Well done! Well… let’s go?”

Larisa hugged me. The evening exercises in the hall were waiting for us.
