The Mirror Ghost

Shadows linger in the static…
Cold breath on the glass…

You were gone before the sunrise — never said a word.
Just the silence and the echo, no trace left to observe.
Now it’s me and the bottle… trying to reset the world.

I stare into the mirror — till I lose my mind.
Till it cracks, till it screams, till it leaves me blind.
You burned it all — the fear, the shame, the cries.
Only your shadow remains… like a ghost behind my eyes.

I looked into reflection — but your eyes weren’t there.
Just the dirt and the stubble, just the cold, vacant stare.
And I knew then and there — you were my final prayer.

I stare into the mirror — till I lose my mind.
Till it bleeds, till it breaks, till I leave it behind.
You burned it all — regret, control, desire.
Only your shadow remains… dancing slow in the fire.

I lay in the dark — not sure why I breathe.
Wishing someone, something, would erase this disease.
But even death forgot my name…
No messages. No flames.

You haunt me like a fever, bitter as the dawn.
Like skin in the silence, long after it’s gone.
If tomorrow comes again — I’ll still carry your trace.
But I don’t care anymore…

I don’t care anymore…
