Viewers tuning into ABC World News Tonight on Wednesday were not too happy with one of the headlines covered by anchor David Muir.
Wednesday's installment saw 51-year-old hunk David back behind the iconic ABC World News Tonight desk to update the nation on the latest trials and tribulations of the world. One of the topics dominating the evening's show was alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein speaking out on President Donald Trump keeping the notorious files and list out of the public domain.
Addressing viewers, David began, "Good evening. It's great to have you with us here on a very busy Wednesday night. We do begin tonight with the extraordinary scene playing out on Capitol Hill today, survivors of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein standing before the Capitol.

"Some coming before the cameras for the first time, demanding that Congress and the White House release the full Jeffrey Epstein files," David continued.
"The group of women sharing their stories, what they say they survived, saying there should be a vote that Republicans and Democrats should have to vote on whether to make these files public.
"Saying, quote, 'The days of sweeping this under the rug are over one by one, the women describing what they endured and urging that the names of the rich and powerful men linked to Epstein be revealed.'
"And tonight, many of them sharing their outrage, with our Linsey Davis over at the Department of Justice, traveling to interview convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and then moving her a short time later to a low security prison camp in Texas with more favorable conditions," the anchor explained.
He concluded his segment saying, "At the White House today, President Trump calling the Epstein files a hoax. ABC's Jay O'Brien, leading us off on Capitol Hill," as the studio went live to Jay.
A clip then played of Epstein's alleged victims speaking out infront of press, She declared, "I was only 14 years old when I was introduced to Jeffrey Epstein." Jay then gave viewers the downlow on the latest in this story.
A clip of the segment, along with the caption, "Survivors of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein came together for the first time on Capitol Hill, sharing their stories and demanding the Epstein files be released. Pres. Trump said the issue was a “Democrat hoax.” @jayobtv reports."
Fans were quick to flood the comment section with uproar, demanding the Epstein files be released.
"We need to support and protect these courageous women!" one user commented, as a second speculated, "Trump really thought this would go away but mark my words he will do another distraction job to get people attention away from this."
"May these victims get the justice they deserve. It’s quite ironic that the Trump campaign hyped this up during election season only to completely reject it and call it a hoax," someone else pointed out.
A fourth user declared, "I stand with the women. Release those names!" with a fifth echoing, "THESE GIRLS NEED TO RELEASE ALL THE NAMES."
While a sixth viewer joked, "At this point, I’m pretty sure that Trump doesn’t know what the word hoax means."
