silver trembling

you don’t know what you do to mirrors:
they bend around your body,
silver trembling,
afraid to hold
so much beauty.
even my eyes ache
from bearing the weight of you…

light brushes your chest.
I trace the rise of your muscles,
my fingers following each curve
like waves shaping sand…

you stretch –
lazy, feline, indifferent –
and something in me
dies quietly,
and surrenders…

Oh, you don’t know what you do to your readers, really...
The true beauty of being, seen through the eyes of an open heart - it's such a mighty force of creation...

And your imagery... I have no words to describe...

P.S. And that first verse... I know it's not a poetic exaggeration: in my life I've been lucky enough to experience this feeling even on a physical level... I know, how the eyes could ache, and the heart could break, not able to contain too much beauty, to hold it and to bear its enormous weight...
