Short story
your dark eyes glow.
i know this glance.
no more defence.
you start. i'm next.
just do your best.
you know a price.
here thin ice.
your turn. my turn.
no more return.
it's price in love.
just one survive.
**second version, if someone not satisfied by first one**
In Shadows' Grasp
You can, I know, in shadows cast,
Your dark eyes glow, a spell unsurpassed.
This whispered glance, where silence bends,
No shields remain; the game commends.
You take the lead, my heart is vexed,
In this dark dance, I stand perplexed.
Do your best, unleash the night,
For in this realm, we lose our might.
You know the cost of love’s cruel guise,
We tread on paths where thin ice lies.
Your turn, my turn, the wheel does spin,
In this twisted fate, who dares begin?
In love’s deep price, where few survive,
One heart will break; the other dies.
Beneath the weight of fervent pleas,
Only one may stand, while the other flees.
