When I was

When I was a kid,
I used to think that love and life - do have a meaning.
But I have to admit
It’s not at all like this, when you are stuck in feelings.

When I was a boy,
I used to comprehend that love is so much more than complicated.
But if you treat it as a toy -
Just understand that in the end you can be easily frustrated.

Now that I grew old
I used to understand that we are from the parallel worlds.
And I got used to know
That we have different notions for the same words.

When I was like you,
I used to understand that life is always harsh and real.
If to tell the truth
It didn’t use a chance to for all my love to be revealed.

When I was your toy,
I used to play this role and to love your jokes.
We had fun and joy
For both of us and we called each other “folks”.

Now that I grew old
I used to understand that we are from the parallel worlds.
And I got used to know
That we have different notions for the same words.
