I love you, without knowing yet

I love you, without knowing yet:
Who are you, darling?
But I want to ascend in your circle
like the Moon of the Danube;

to draw our destiny with charcoal and chalk,
dancing the Boston Waltz;
to caress you at night with my body and soul,
immersing myself in your sleep;

to meet the sunset, to appreciate the dawns,
clinging to the silence,
to resound with dreams and shout our greetings
from bridges and rooftops...

I wander in the darkness, reaching heights,
keeping fasting, –
I love you, without knowing yet
neither where, nor who you are, nor if you exist...
