Aurora Post Noctem
From my tired eyes, faint starlight does awake.
Scarlet blood, a dagger's pointed threat,
Beyond all pain, dreams I can't forget.
The candle wanes, its flickering light grows dim.
Ink and parchment, a story waits within.
When all else fails, decisive action's call,
The needed courage, I must stand up tall.
Sun's first light breaks through the clouds above.
Fresh air flows in, through the shadow of my love.
Though voice may falter, my resolve stands strong.
Why did you leave me, where did I go wrong?
