I wish for better day to come,
Here I am, as always, numb:
In haste, from chance to chance,
Despair sometimes leads me to dance.
I long to feel you close to me,
But like before, you’re far to see.
I’d pull the trigger,
take my chance,
Yet fear my trembling hands .
I wish for now, for time’s embrace,
Tomorrow won’t wait this race!
I’d love to pray,
to find my peace,
To eat and live,
let worries cease.
I crave the light
to break the night,
But once again,
it fades from sight.
I wish to stay,
to hold on tight,
Yet still
I’m swept away
from sight.
