Ээджин дун перевод на английский
I sat and washed a shirt.
Though I sat and washed that shirt,
I remember Mother’s care.
2.
On the cliff that faces north,
A willow sways alone.
Yet as it sways, so frail, so worn,
I think of Mother’s love.
3.
With salty water from the well,
I washed my hands so slow.
Yet as I washed, the water’s touch
Made me miss Mother so.
4.
The satin shirt she sewed with grace,
Still new, though years have passed.
The grass and streams of this dear land
Still green, still fresh, still last.
5.
From where the rising sun takes flight,
A silk scarf flutters free.
My mother, now my shining sun,
Forever lives in me.
