I wish I were a child again
And walked without shoes,
I'd run under the rain all day
And wouldn't watch the news!
I wouldn't have to suffocate
From cars and passers by,
I'd breathe and live,
I'd smile and shine,-
I'd live but not survive!
I wish I had my open heart
For those who've been cruel,
I'd say "All right!" ,I would forgive
My brothers- and my foes..
I wish I saw my father sane,
I wish he were as nice!-
-And mommy wouldn't have to face
The bastards and to fight..
I wish my loving cousin came
From the army-but alive..
I'm looking for myself again,
And not sure where to find,
It's dead or killed-well, anyway
I've got to see this time..
I wish
