You Knew the Code and Broke It Clean
Not loud, just sharp, just unforeseen.
You chose a silence shaped like aim,
then slipped my name inside your game.
You spoke of me in careful tones,
as if I'd outgrown my bones.
You smiled with others, said you tried,
while feeding them what I denied.
You kept my shade inside your teeth,
then bled me out beneath your wreath.
I watched you paint your myth with pride,
as if I hadn’t knelt beside.
You moved in rooms we built from thread
and tore the corners while I bled.
Not once you paused. Not once you checked,
you walked through walls we both had wrecked.
You let them chew the parts you knew.
You dressed it up as something true.
You let them echo what you made
and claimed the knife was how we fade.
You’ll say that time just made us split.
But cuts like this are never it.
You knew the cost. You knew the screen.
You knew the code and broke it clean.
