Nikita woke up early
As Nikita walked through the forest, he noticed bright red berries growing on a bush. Remembering his grandmother’s advice, he picked only the ripe ones and placed them gently in his basket. Further ahead, he found dry twigs and small logs, perfect for a campfire. Hard work made him feel proud.
Suddenly, a tiny squirrel jumped onto a low branch, holding a nut in its paws. Nikita laughed as the squirrel tilted its head, watching him curiously. “Are you collecting food too?” he asked playfully. The squirrel chattered in response before scurrying away, reminding Nikita how important it was to gather and prepare.
With his collected wood, Nikita built a small campfire, just like his grandfather had taught him. As the flames crackled, he roasted some bread and enjoyed the warmth. The forest felt alive with whispers of the wind and rustling leaves. It was peaceful, and he felt grateful for the simple joys of the day.
As the sun began to set, Nikita knew it was time to head home. His basket, once full of berries, was now empty—he had enjoyed every bite. Walking back, he felt fulfilled, knowing that hard work and care made simple moments special. Today had been a day of joy, and he couldn’t wait to do it all again.
