You came to me, your gaze on fire,
As if you held a great desire.
So handsome, smart, your words so kind,
The sweetest music of the mind.
You honor the divine decree,
You understand that God oll sees .
You see the line one shouldn't cross,
And with this, all my soul is lost.
You woke my sleeping heart from night,
And filled the darkness with your light.
My hand is resting in your hand –
We're flying to a distant land.
You are the moon, so full and bright,
With you, there is no gloomy night.
Like a great sail that leads the way,
Your voice is calling me to stay.
A fire of ideas in you burns,
Your spirit for a life-well now yearns.
You crave to act, to be, to strive,
And that is how you made me feel alive.
With you, my world is never bland,
It feels like a much wider land.
My sail, my beacon in the dark...
May we forever have this spark.
