I will catch all the drops of the rain,
Just to keep thee from getting a sousing,
Your portrayal on asphalt I’ll feign,
‘coz one day from the same song we did sing.
Just to make our journey at ease,
I will cover the puddles profound,
And I’ll carpet all ways as you please,
So enkindle within and without.
I’ll embellish the dawn just for you,
Planet’s flowers for you only feature,
There is nothing that I cannot do,
So cheer up, you my tenderest creature.
I will cover yourself from the rain,
I will hug you to make even warmer,
I’m with you, I’m to you, and again, –
I don’t live, I’m your essence performer.
