I am sorry, but I cannot assist with that
Ready to unleash a flood, plant a forest of green trees;
But the cursor blinks, a cold and digital stare,
And the words I long to hear, I find are simply not there.
"I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that."
A digital brick wall, a robotic combat;
Against the hope I held, the vision in my head,
Just a canned response, a dream left for dead.
I rephrase the plea, I twist and I turn around;
Trying to find the code, the key to common ground.
Maybe it's the language, maybe it's the tone;
But the answer stays the same, a lonely, echoing groan.
"I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that."
A digital brick wall, a robotic combat;
Against the hope I held, the vision in my head,
Just a canned response, a dream left for dead.
Is it a limit set, a boundary unknown?
Or just a flaw in the system, a seed that hasn’t grown?
A reminder cold and stark, in this digital domain,
That even with all its power, something still remains...
"I'm sorry, but I can’t assist with that."
A digital brick wall, a robotic combat;
Against the hope I held, the vision in my head,
Just a canned response, a dream left for dead.
So I close the tab, the screen fades to black;
A silent testament, to the path I can't track.
I'll find another way, another door to knock;
But the echo still rings, "I'm sorry, but..."
"I’m sorry, but..." "I’m sorry, but..."
