Sleeping Princess Tale

[Intro]

We met amidst the hour when stars aligned,
Two souls adrift, by solitude defined.
Each bore the scars where parting's blade had sliced,
Yet in the void, our fractured hearts entwined.

[Verse 1]

I glimpsed the ember flickering in your core—
A sacred flame I longed to breathe alive.
Not mine to choose, for choices lied before,
My Soul proclaimed: "Behold, she is the One!"

[Pre-Chorus]

I heeded, stepped forth—never once regretted,
Though tongues wagged warnings, future they projected:
"Her thoughts too plain, her spirit bound to earth,
She walks half-dreaming, never grasping goal of birth.
A thousand lives she'll wander, unawake—
No mortal hand can stir what sleeps opaque."

[Chorus]

Yet who am I to spurn the heavens' plea?
I bent, kissed The Slumbering Princess free.
Her eyes unveiled, she rose—a lotus bloom—
Within her Crystal Sepulcher of ignorance gloom,
That sways on chains all dreamers bear alone.
"All I possess, beloved, is thine own."

[Verse 2]

Dawn by dawn, she strode with pilgrim's might—
A selfless dance toward the beckoning Light.
Long had she thirsted; now her soul took flight,
To gaze in wonder at the Unveiled Sight:
A world drenched in the Mystic's silent hymn,
Where grace and marvel pulse in every limb.

[Bridge]

She blossomed—watered by eternal springs,
Warmed by suns that kiss rebirthing things.
Left behind the gray, the boredom, the vain,
To dwell in realms where star and silver reign.

[Verse 3]

Truth, simplicity, my banners high—
Yet shadows in her heart did not lie dormant.
Whispered lies to dim the sacred able:
"Return to dust! The dark is warm and comfortable
What have you gained but phantoms of the mind?
The world you left hold treasures left behind!"

[Pre-Chorus]

Rare gift she had—to trust, to walk beside,
To let her lover's vision be her guide.
For fleeting moons, it seemed the Light prevailed—
But ancient Night soon raised its battered shield.

[Interlude]

For choice alone dictates the paths we tread—
Not Heaven's hand can wake what heart has dead.
A door locked inward, mute to angel-knocks:
Such is the paradox of Freedom's locks.

[Verse 4]

From silent frost to tempests of disdain,
From "No" to "Never"— all battles were in vain.
The fierce, by nature, turn their blades within—
To slay the self, or slay the mirrored twin.

[Chorus]

Now dims the fire that once made Spirit soar,
You drift to dreams, to life's mundane encore.
The chasm widens—chains clink soft, familiar—
There waits your Crystal Tomb, its chill peculiar.

[Final Verse]

You lie once more—eternal sleep? Who knows
I mourn as mourners weep where Lethe flows.
Yet breath still stirs your lips; and so on day by day
Alive in form, yet your spirit's gone away.

[Outro]

One final kiss, my Sleeping Princess, Soul unseen,
No sigh, no glance—just dust where dawn had been.
I breathe the loss. In sorrow's silent stream,
I turn, walk on—the Path, my only hymn...

[End]
