Sorrow
The world dissolves—a dimming glow.
A chilling silence fills the air,
A heavy weight beyond compare.
Feels like echoes in my veins,
A throbbing pulse, a searing pain.
Hands are numb—these icy chains
Binding me in endless strains.
Who am I with broken wings?
A fragile bird the darkness clings.
Lost in what tomorrow brings,
The bitter sting, the sorrow sings.
Helpless whispers in my ear,
Consumed by fear—the end is near.
Where’s the strength when you’re in fear?
A silent tear, a stifled prayer.
Countdown starts to fate unknown,
Alone, alone—I face it alone.
In this world we face alone,
My spirit’s flown, my strength is gone.
Heartbeat’s fading, shadows fall,
Darkness calls—encompassing all.
Grasp for air, but lose it all,
Responding to fate’s chilling thrall.
Scars and bruises, painted black,
No turning back, no looking back.
Can’t find the courage to fight back,
Trapped in this desolate, hopeless track.
Now lacks all choice, devoid of voice,
Turned to silence—not by choice,
Lost in this endless, tragic noise.
