Neuronchaser. Half-Light City Of Tomorrow...
each step feels falling, a burden to bear.
through the crowded avenues, I wander astray,
cascade memories, raindrops in gray.
voices drones sirens, ferroconcrete world no kind,
in the city shadows, where dreams intertwine.
a static love lost in the heart turned to stone.
every face is a stranger, and I walk to you alone.
half-light city of tomorrow, here echoes fade,
loneliness whispers, in our choices, we made.
searching for warmth in the flickering lights,
searching for sense is inside bits & bytes.
once we soared with visions, now fade into gloom,
technology wraps us in its cold, sterile womb.
can you feel the distance, a chasm inside?
miles of steel, glass & silence, no place to hide.
in the depths of sorrow, a flicker remain,
a connect click in the hearts of pain.
from the pixels ellipsis, our faces unite,
from the mud and ashes, we reclaim reflected light.
in this city of tomorrow, where echoes fade,
loneliness whispers, in the choices we made.
here we searching for warmth in the flickering night,
but the shadows are gloomy, and the live-wire-men bites.
the machines hum, the voices collide,
urban wastelands, here we arent just a death-riders.
when the night darkens and the world feels so cold,
we find strength in the silence, and embrace the untold.
searching for human warmth and the flicker of lights,
our steps & shadows are heavy, but we are outside bits & bytes.
from the pixels ellipsis, our faces will unite,
from the mud & longing, we’ll reclaim reflected light.
