To celebrate the Victory of Glory,
We did the flowers to Eternal Flame,
We praise the heroes of the tales of worry,
Who saved the world and stood off country’s name.

The plan of “Barbarossa” having minded,
Aspired Hitler Russians to destroy,
And tanks to juicy vastitudes he guided,
The wealth of land to capture and enjoy.

He failed; instead the echelons tailed out,
And warriors from towns, small and big,
Erected their defenses with no doubt,
With stamina frustrated foe’s blitzkrieg.

Thus held Smolensk and Brest their lines relentless,
They held their shields to thwart the foe’s advance,
And Moscow Battle left their plans eventless,
To strengthen hope in days of fighty stance.

The blow to nation’s heart foes failed to carry,
And for the first time we returned offense,
Our blow, so sudden, strong, and proletary,
To Wehrmacht was in hiems delivered hence.

So Stalingrad, and Leningrad’s besieging,
Kursk, Kiev, Minsk, their liberty regained,
For Europe Russian soldiers gave their teaching,
And liberty for Europe's lands attained.

“For Motherland! For Stalin!" cried undaunted,
And warrior as if gained strength to grind.
Berlin was conquered, and the foe unwanted,
Beheld in full the strength of Russian mind.

The years passed, as birdie rashly fleeted,
And fascists forced another deadly fight,
But we won’t let our Land to be mistreated,
‘cause day by day a hero is in sight.

Unbroken bond to bridge the generations,
To answer heart’s appeal to stand our Land,
We say our “No!” to Nazi perpetrations,
In honor of Great May, we grandly stand!
