When time comes, abandoned by all,
I’ll fall asleep, covered by earth.
No more life’s purpose to recall,
My battle finally comes to its end.
Like a knight who fought till his last breath,
Defending against the enemy’s attacks,
I’ll realize that the struggle was in vain—
Now my armor is no longer needed back.
Then I’ll lift up my visor at last,
Throw aside my shield without delay,
Weary thrust my sword into the ground,
Realizing that there’s no pain left today.
Kneeling down, I’ll raise my face to the sky,
Saying: «Redemption has come, oh Lord above!
You know, it’s almost been a hundred years why».
All wasn’t in vain, for another world awaits,
Whispering tremblingly: «Hello!» once again,
There, I won’t be alone, fate dictates.
