Day by day we move in stride
Night by night we learn to hide
Time to times we face the cost
In the crowd yet still we're lost
Everyone is right they claim
Chasing shadows fanning flames
To prove anything they try
While the stars just watch from the sky
Don’t send to fight what’s not your war
Some truths we hold some we ignore
Each heart beats loud in its own way
Guided by its light each day
Has their own way through the storm
A fragile spark keeps them warm
A thousand paths a thousand flights
Every soul its own starlight
We stumble fall but rise again
The mirror shows where we’ve been
No need to fight to win the night
We all burn bright in our own light
Don’t send to fight what’s not your war
