A curtain call for love
My love lies still, deep down, it’s shattered, long gone.
She wore the weight of pain like a patched sleeve,
And vanished ere we saw the curtains drawn,
A lamp you were in the darkest sinful night,
Now gone — your guiding light is lost from sight.
You filled up my inner world — no place without you, no corner of my soul you hadn’t known,
Then disappeared, wordless, left me hollowed, all alone,
No fault was yours — I crumbled from within,
You needed some space — I locked you in, among the gloom and deadly sin.
