Waves of despair are crashing over me
Lost in the black, I struggle to breathe
Searching for a glimmer, a reason to believe

The silence screams louder than any storm could rage
Trapped in this echo, turning a lonely page
Memories flicker, like embers in the night
Whispering promises, then fading out of sight
