Cracked mirror, staring back at me
A stranger with my face, I can't believe
The hollow eyes, the ghost of a smile
Just echoes ringing in this lonely mile
Of memory lane, where shadows creep
And secrets buried whisper in my sleep

Echoes of pain, bouncing off the walls
A symphony of sorrow, destined to befall
This fragile heart, already torn apart
Echoes of pain, tearing me from the start

I built a fortress, walls so high and strong
Tried to lock away where I went wrong
But the cracks are showing, letting the light in
Reminding me of where the hurt begins
Each brick a tear, each stone a broken vow
The weight of yesterday is heavy even now

A symphony of sorrow, destined to befall
This fragile heart, already torn apart

Is there a way to silence the sound?
To bury the ghosts that haunt this ground?
Can I find the strength to rise above
And trade the heartache for a feeling of love?
