Rebuilding from Ashes

A cycle of poems «Your Fragments of a Broken Heart»

Smoke still lingers, hangs in the air
A bitter scent of what used to be, I swear
Charred remains of dreams I held so tight
Lost in the darkness, consumed by the night

But embers glow beneath the blackened ground
A flicker of hope, a resilient sound
A whisper rising from the dust and pain
A promise spoken, I will rise again

From ashes I will rise, stronger than before
The fire tested what I'm fighting for
Each broken piece, a lesson learned with grace
Rebuilding from the ashes, finding my place

The wind it howls, a symphony of grief
But I won't crumble, I'll find my own relief
With calloused hands and a determined heart
I'll tear the rubble down, right from the very start

I'll gather fragments, memories I keep
Seeds of resilience, planted in the deep
Watered with courage, nourished by the sun
A new foundation, a new life begun

From ashes I will rise, stronger than before
The fire tested what I'm fighting for
Each broken piece, a lesson learned with grace
Rebuilding from the ashes, finding my place

They said I'm broken, they said I'm through
But they don't see the fire burning true
Deep in my spirit, a will that won't be swayed
From this desolate landscape, a future will be made

From ashes I will rise, stronger than before
The fire tested what I'm fighting for
Each broken piece, a lesson learned with grace
Rebuilding from the ashes, finding my place

Yeah, rising from the ashes, reaching for the sky
A testament to strength, as the seasons fly
From ashes I will rise, forever I will soar
Rebuilding from the ashes, and so much more.
