Colorful dreams of my sorrow
Draw me beyond the horizon
To where unknown distances lie,
Where everything's turned upside down.
There, waters flow against the tide,
And stars abandon the sky,
Thoughts are clear as oblivion,
And winds whisper from on high.
The sun shines at midnight there,
The moon glows bright by day anew,
Each moment holds importance rare,
Life feels like it's laid for view.
But I sneak towards that place unknown,
That realm where my mind resides,
Where happiness is a phantom grown
From sweet pain’s ephemeral tides.
And pain remains my trusted guide.
My new world
