Broken Wings of Hope

A cycle of poems «I Trust Tempered Steel»

In the silence of the night, where shadows dance and fade,
A child dreams of a world, where love will never stray.
But the winds of fate are cruel, they whisper tales of woe,
As innocence is shattered, like glass beneath the snow.

Broken wings of hope, they flutter in the storm,
Carried by the echoes of a heart that’s lost its form.
In the ashes of tomorrow, where the light begins to dim,
We’ll rise from the darkness, though the chances seem so slim.

In a land where laughter once filled the air with light,
Now silence reigns supreme, as day succumbs to night.
The laughter turns to crying, as dreams begin to fall,
A warrior’s heart is heavy, yet still he hears their call.

Broken wings of hope, they flutter in the storm,
Carried by the echoes of a heart that’s lost its form.
In the ashes of tomorrow, where the light begins to dim,
We’ll rise from the darkness, though the chances seem so slim.

Through the fire and the rain, we’ll carry on this fight,
For every tear that’s fallen, we’ll ignite a spark of light.
With every broken promise, we’ll forge a brand new way,
For even in our sorrow, we’ll find strength to face the day.

Broken wings of hope, they flutter in the storm,
Carried by the echoes of a heart that’s lost its form.
In the ashes of tomorrow, where the light begins to dim,
We’ll rise from the darkness, though the chances seem so slim.

So let the heavens tremble, let the mountains bow and break,
For every child forgotten, we’ll rise for their sake.
With broken wings of hope, we’ll learn to soar again,
In a world that’s torn asunder, we will find our strength within.
