A battle fought, where did we go wrong?
But still you stand, beneath the fading light
A silhouette against the coming night

Resilient spirit, forever shine
The embers glow, within your weary eyes
A warrior's heart, beneath these darkening skies

The wounds are deep, the scars they tell
Of stories etched, in fire and in hell
But pain is fuel, for a burning soul
To reach the summit, and make yourself whole
