I saw you and my head began to whirl,
I couldn’t trust the sight before my eyes.
How can life change in a single swirl,
And how so easily we lose our minds?
How can one stranger, passing by,
Erase the pain others left behind?
We’re strangers, yet somehow I feel
At peace and light, as if I’ve found my kind!
This feels so strange and I can't ignore
That you have all that others seem to lack.
You’re just a man, like everyone before,
But wanna stay right here, not looking back.
And in your eyes, I gaze with tender cheer,
My heart at last is free from all dismay.
If in your chest beats love so sure and clear,
Then you are fate’s own gift to me today!
