Sun dips low, the ocean sighs,
Golden light in amber skies.
Seashells sing a whispered tune,
Underneath the silver moon.
I was lost, adrift and cold,
My heart a story yet untold.

Then a shimmer, a splash of blue,
A mermaid's face, eyes like dew.
Her voice like waves, a gentle call,
She offered me a kiss, a thrall.

Woke a wonder I knew so well.

Her scales like jewels, a vibrant gleam,
Her laughter echoed in my dream.
She showed me treasures, hidden deep,
Coral castles where secrets sleep.
The ocean's heart, a gentle beat,
My fear subsided, bittersweet.
