The world keeps spinning, a dizzying ride
The future's uncertain, nowhere to hide
But shadows are lengthenin', whispers so low
A voice in the darkness, a chilling flow
Tellin' you stories of endings and pain
Of hopes that are shattered, and dreams that are slain
But don't you believe it, don't listen to fear
There's fire still burnin', a reason to cheer

Don't die! Let your spirit take flight
Don't die! Hold on to the light
Don't die! Though the darkness may call
Don't die! Stand strong, stand tall
There's beauty still waiting, a future untold
A story yet written, a heart to unfold
Don't die!

The battles are raging, the wounds they are deep
The tears they are fallin', secrets to keep
But strength lies within you, a fire so bright
A flicker of hope in the darkest of night
Don't let it be quenched, don't let it fade out
Find the courage within, let your spirit shout
Believe in the promise, the dawn that will break
The chains you are wearin', for goodness sake
