My Cat Knows the Answer

A cycle of poems «Or Maybe You're an Angel»

In the evening glow, where the shadows play,
There’s a wise little soul, who knows what to say.
With emerald eyes that see right through me,
She curls up close, like she’s guarding a key.

Oh, my cat knows the answer, to questions I can’t find,
With a flick of her tail, and a glance so kind.
In the quiet of the night, when the world feels heavy,
She whispers the truth, and my heart feels ready.

Got a million dreams wrapped in a tangled mess,
But she purrs her comfort, like she knows my stress.
With each gentle nudge, she's a beacon of light,
Showing me the way, through the darkness of night.

Oh, my cat knows the answer, to worries that expand,
With her soft little paws, she takes my hand.
In the silence we share, there’s a bond so real,
She speaks without words, with a comforting feel.

When the world feels heavy, and the road is long,
She’ll curl in my lap, and hum me her song.
No need for the chatter, or the fuss and the fight,
In her eyes, I find wisdom, in her presence, I’m right.

So here’s to my companion, my furry little sage,
With a heart full of stories, beyond any page.
When I’m lost in the questions, when I don’t understand,
She’s the answer I seek, with her paw in my hand.

Oh, my cat knows the answer, to the mysteries of life,
With her silent affection, she cuts through the strife.
In a world full of chaos, she’s my soft, gentle balm,
Together we’ll wander, like a sweet midnight calm.

So here’s to the moments, and the love that we share,
My heart knows the truth, in the love of her stare.
When the night falls softly, and dreams start to dance,
I’ll lean on my cat, she knows how to romance.
