Whatever men say, or may omit to say, you have to celebrate being the glue that holds society together, the refuge from the madness and uncertainty in the outside world; beauty in a world of harshness; benign tolerance in the face of provocation. Obviously, we cannot generalise absolutely, but where have some of the greatest sweetest emotions originated or been focussed towards? What provokes severe men to seek the most tender routes to the hearts of their real, or imagined sweethearts. And meanwhile you are also asked to carry the pain of loss, which you feel most deeply. So, congratulations girls; walk a little straighter; the emotional world would stutter to a halt without you. Hugs and kisses"
