Life. Extensive use of Present Perfect
I’ve captured some shadows horrendously mingled.
Each day has unfolded like petals in spring,
And time has developed the songs that I sing.
In the laughter of children, I have found true grace,
In the lines on my palms, I have traced my own pace.
I have danced with the stars on a cold, cloudless night,
On a bright sunny day I have bid you good bye!
Here I proudly stand, this is what I’ve become,
I thank G-d for each moment, for His wisdom and charm.
In the depths of despair, my heart beats all the same—
For I've lived quite fully, and I hold no shame.
