Wisdom of a Jewish Mother
In kitchens warm, where memories rise,
A Jewish mother weaves her ties,
With chicken soup and stories spun,
Life’s richest lessons taught one to one.
She teaches strength in gentle ways,
In laughter's light and Sabbath days,
With hands that nurture, firm yet kind,
She shapes the heart and molds the mind.
She speaks of faith, of culture deep,
Of traditions we honor, and secretly keep.
“Remember, my child, the stories of old,
Of struggle, of hatred, of triumph, of gold.
In every challenge, a lesson lies,
And you, my child, must strive to the skies.
Make time for family, let it’s love shine,
For family bonds – they are divine”
So as we wander through life's vast sea,
We carry her wisdom, her legacy,
In every meal shared and prayer said,
A Jewish mother has woven her thread.
