I saw you in my dream
I don’t recall your face at all,
But I’m convinced—it's fate’s own call.
I remember your hands, even the scent,
The way your brown eyes, half-closed, went
Off to the distance, where the sun fell down,
While I just watched…
Just watched you around.
You spoke of life with passion and grace,
And was so glad, that I’m yours in this place.
I've seen you somewhere… but where, I can't say.
Yet somehow, I feel you’re a part of my way.
You turned your gaze…
Now, your attention’s all on me.
I think…
I see a cosmos in your eyes' deep sea.
You look at me straight, with such power and calm,
In your eyes, my reflection, a soft, quiet home.
I catch bits and pieces of how your face should be…
So perfect… yet I can’t fully see.
I cannot capture your whole form —
But I feel my love for you, pure and warm.
— “You know this, right? My dear, you know?”
A faint whisper, your voice so low…
It’s etched in my memory, soft and slow.
— “I’ll find you no matter how far I roam,
Just wait for me, love—I'll come back home.”
And in an instant, like a wisp, a ghost—
Your image fades, into darkness, lost.
Eyes open, startled—was it a dream?
Come back to me, if only for a gleam!
Your face…
I can’t recall you clear,
But your brown eyes… they still feel near.
And echoing still, in my mind, I hear
Your clear, quiet “Just wait, my dear.”
