Magnesium
The effect lingers, soothing my mind.
Like a symbol in some strange elysium,
I depart, fade again and decline.
Sudden feeling drowns out all the misery,
Swelling deeply - I tear it apart.
Like a bird pecking some bitter whinberry,
Sorrows ruin and burden my heart.
Magnesium, take me away,
I know you've got something to say.

This verse descends, a tranquil, gentle rain.
Where magnesium's touch, in shadowed, fading light,
A soothing peace, it strives to entertain.
From depths of woe, a sudden feeling swells,
A fractured bird, on bitter berries fed,
Yet through the pain, a tender story tells,
Of solace sought, where troubled thoughts have fled.
"Magnesium, take me," the heart's soft plea,
A whispered hope, in rhythmic lines conveyed,
A moment's calm, for souls that long to be,
In quietude, where gentle dreams are made.
The poet's hand, a delicate, soft art,
With shades of grief, and whispers of release,
A fragile bloom, where sorrow plays its part,
And yearns for balm, and moments of sweet peace.
