In the swing by the pines at night

In the swing by the pines at night,
I told tales that haunt the light.
Then I kissed you, gazing deep,
Hoping that your heart I'd keep!

Green-eyed girl in red attire,
Not my girl, alas, I tire...
Yet I wish for joy and grace,
A peaceful child of moonlit space.

I wish you love and strength to find,
A bond so deep, with hearts aligned.
As for me, I wish just nerves,
Till love's end, as fate deserves…
