Winter s Embrace
Winter wraps the houses tight,
Dusting everything in white.
On windows, snowflakes fringe and flow,
Like traces left by soft, pure snow.
In December, with rightful grace,
Winter, the hostess, takes her place,
Draping all in silver bright;
Her magical touch brings sheer delight.
In pre-New Year’s bustling time,
The charm of frosty days does shine.
Winter paints upon the canvas wide
Her patterns drawn with breath, like tide.
In waiting for the magic near,
We overlook, in busy cheer,
That winter sends us gifts from high,
Painting wonders from the sky.
